While we were doing a car trip around the Highlands wanted to try some Sunday Roast so we went to this restaurant where we had a lovely roast. The staff was so nice and the place is very cosy. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was alright. Staff was not at ALL helpful. Food had two temperatures, Surface of the Sun or Frozen in the Tundra. Never have had frozen creme brulee before. When brought to their attention the response was "Oh, OK" Shameful! Just added to the experience when we checked in and ensured that we would NOT be back again. You can even see the ice crystals in the photo. Do better or you will not be around for long.
Lovely food, friendly service, left absolutely stuffed, we booked a table for 4pm at opening time and service was prompt, can imagine it gets busy later on, but a lovely pub and the beer was good too 👌🏻
Amazing food! I came here because of the reviews and was not disappointed. Highlight of the evening was the Salmon Gravalax and the Sticky Date Pudding. We ate fish and chips, and the small portion was of a great size.
4/5 Certainly a little pricier than most places but decent food! The place was extremely full so service was a little slow, but the staff were friendly! King Prawns - battered king prawns served with a sweet chili garlic sauce. Batter was a little thick but the dish tasted alright. Pork Belly - really tender pork belly served with a mash and some greens. Loved the amount of pork they served but would’ve loved some more of the gravy. Chicken thighs - well cooked chicken thighs served with a risotto and topped with feta.
