With two large gardens to enjoy the breath taking views over the Avon Valley during the warm Summer months and the open log fire and two wood burning stoves that will certainly ensure you a warm welcome during the Winter months, we are a pub for all seasons. We are proud to announce that we have achieved a 5* Food Hygiene rating from Wiltshire Council.
Serving home cooked food and three Wadworth cask ales with seasonal ales also available, families are welcome, we also allow your dog in for drinks & a biscuit after your walks in the beautiful countryside which surrounds the pub. Why not come and enjoy our famous Sunday roast available from 12 noon through to 8.00pm every Sunday.

Food was lovely, the service was great. I really liked that we asked for a high chair in the booking notes and there was one at the table. Often we go places and have to ask again when we arrive. Nice and relaxed meal even with a small child.
Absolutely beautiful place, lovely staff, very welcoming, the food was delicious! Car park out the front next to beautiful Bowood. We even saw the Christmas tree put up outside, we all had such a lovely time we didn’t want to leave. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely pub. Mate a mate for a pint and subsequently some chips and snacks. Lovely pub and atmosphere. Staff were great!
Excellent quick food within reach of stunning countryside, good selection of beers (tiny rebel especially excellent) and possibly the best fish and chips I've had locally!
We had dinner here on a Monday evening and it was fabulous. From outside, the pub looks gorgeous with all the Christmas lights and inside was just as lovely Tables are nicely set apart and the welcome is friendly. The food was fantastic, especially the coffee panna cotta...the best I've ever had! Great value for money, really nice and varied selection of drinks and food. Attentive service and no issues, I'd love this as my local 👍
