About us

The Langton Arms is an award-winning, traditional Dorset country pub, proud to be a free house with an ever-changing selection of local real ales.

The pub can be found at the heart of this chocolate box village, far from the hustle and bustle of modern life. It sits opposite the beautiful All Saints Parish Church which dates back to the 15th century.

We have a great wine list supplied by another family owned business, Ellis Vintners. We also offer a wide range of spirits, sherries, liqueurs, ports and soft drinks. There are always bar snacks available as well as our light bite menu.

The pub was recently voted Best Pub in Dorset by The National Pub & Bar Awards 2016 and has also won the prestigious Best Food Business Taste of Dorset Award 2015.

The Langton Arms is a great place to bring the family, we have a large safe well-equipped play area next to a beautiful country beer garden. A haven for both young and old.

Relax and unwind in our beautiful outside space. We've a peaceful courtyard and a big sunny beer garden that looks out to green fields.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and lovely waiters. We found it hard to pick from the menu because it all sounded so good! We came away very stuffed and happy.

Booked an evening meal with a friend. We are greeted by welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely choices of dishes on the menu. We were given an amuse bouche to start, which is a nice touch from the chef. We ordered the belly pork, served with fresh vegetables. Very tasty and good portion sizes too. Lovely place for a meal with friends.

A charming thatch roof pub in a sleepy, rural setting. I'd happily come here again, particularly for special occasions as the food is a little pricier than usual but only because it is locally sourced. Definitely worth paying more for. Highly recommend.

Took whole family for a meal as a round up to end holiday. They were brilliant with the children and adults alike. Lovely meals were had by all including one gluten free. Would definitely recommend. Lovely quiet (for 15 of us) meal.
