Well cooked tasty food loved our Sunday dinner. Service brilliant and helpful. Ideal place if your disabled. Hopefully we will be back again
Good pub food and a nice range of beers including real ales. The kebabs are their speciality and are the best hanging kebabs according to my daughter. There is also a wide range of other options including some vegetarian and vegan options. I had the steak pie which was absolutely filled with steak and extremely tasty. My wife had the chilli king prawn linguine which she said was one of the best that she had tasted. The decor and furniture are bright, clean and modern. Excellent, unhurried service. Sam, our waiter was brilliant. He was wonderful with our dog (who loved him) and very polite and friendly. To conclude it's a nice place to come and have a relaxed pub lunch or evening meal. BTW Monday to Saturday - 2 courses for just under £19, good value for excellent food.
Ok experience, nothing super special. Steak was good, recommend asking for proper chips rather than skin on fries. I went with expectations of menu items that are a bit more high end gastro pub, it being an Ego, but it's more chef and brewer, to the point that I wouldn't know the difference between it and it's vintage inns counterpart. Only real food disappointment were the calamari, rubber bands in soggy batter, however they were fab when I mentioned it and offered to replace them but I'd dived too far into the pitta bread by then 🤣 Highlight was the Queen Bee cocktail absolutely divine, wish I'd not been driving otherwise I'd have had the two for £12 offer several times! Service was good for the first hour but then dwindled off, empty plates and glasses left on the table etc. Don't think I'd go back again except for the cocktails.
Attended 60th birthday celebrations for a midweek evening meal. A wonderful place. Very friendly staff, homely atmosphere with live entertainment. The restaurant was busy despite it being mid week, highlighting it's popularity. Food was perfectly cooked and well presented...we dressed our own table with flowers and balloons and were allowed to take our own birthday cake , which were allowed to eat as dessert. Staff were accommodating right the way through the evening. I highly recommend Fox Club to anyone who has not been.
We came for a family lunch and had a very good time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly! We had our pooch on tow and she was also very welcomed! They had some doggie treats which she enjoyed very much. There were a lot of choices on each course and it suited our family of different tastebuds! The food was fresh and delicious. There were a few I would have chosen! So will come back to try the other dishes!!
