Former Balcony Bar renamed as The Mayfield in early 2012. Up the stairs on Manchester Piccadilly railway station concourse. Real ale introduced in 2015 in the form of a house beer called 'Mayfield Rail Ale' described as a bitter, believed to be brewed by Greene King.
Stopped off for breakfast on our way home and couldn't have found better service or great food anywhere else at such a convenient location. Food was hot, tasty and perfect poached eggs! Simon was the most the courteous waiter as were the rest of the team.
The mill is inside Manchester Piccadilly station, at Upper concourse level. There is a lift besides burger King to take us to upper concourse level. In Google map, it shows opening hour at 9am but in actual fact it is opened about 10:15am. Self order at counter and payment. Serving within 5 minutes upon payment. We ordered small English breakfast. Mediocre. Nothing special. Β£16 for the breakfast and one cappuccino. A but pricey. But, the good is we could enjoy breakfast while looking at the train departure signboard. 2 stars
People are so friendly, make sure all are okay and foods are delicious! Will definitely going back again ππ€π©·π©Άπ€π€πππππ§‘β€οΈπ«Ά
First time here. Food was so lush! Generous portions, awesome service & great ambience. Will definitely come again β€οΈ
Great little pub out the way of the busy crowds at the train station. Great views and reasonably priced pints. Normal pints are good price, but go to flavoured like dark fruits and theyβre a lot more. Still great place to go when waiting for people.
