Ideally located on the corner of Portland and Princess street, the Old Monkey is a friendly pub with a great atmosphere in the centre of Manchester. Just two miles from the brewery, you can be sure to get a quality, very well-priced pint here.
This much-loved pub serves an excellent selection of lagers, real ales, craft beers, wines and spirits. They even serve fantastic cocktails!

Horrible. Expensive pints, the waiter looks like he don’t want to work but trully he es bored. Full of strange people and annoying drunk people.
It's in a great location and has a great atmosphere! There is a bar on the ground floor and a smaller one up on the first floor. You can book the top room for events etc. Last time I visited. There was a dog. Nice.
Very good Manchester pub about 10 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station. Six cask ales on handpump when I visited including a mild. Fairly quiet after the Spurs game at the Etihad. The pub was Manchester brewer Joseph Holt's first ever new-build house in the city. Built on the site of the Queens Arms beer house, it opened in 1993.
The Old Monkey Pub in Manchester offers an impressive array of beers, showcasing a diverse selection that caters to various tastes. However, it's worth noting that on two separate visits, the pub was not serving food. This might be disappointing for those looking to pair their drinks with a meal. Despite this drawback, the charming atmosphere and exceptional beer choices make it a noteworthy spot for beer enthusiasts.
Best pub in Manchester. Awesome food, great price and a pint thrown in for good measure. 1000% recommended. Staff brilliant too, great atmosphere
