We are a traditional British Pub, proudly serving a wide selection of Beers, Wines and Spirits. At lunch we offer traditional home made food with produce sourced from local suppliers where possible.
We are a Cask Marque accredited Pub which give our cask ale drinkers confidence that we are passionate about our cask ales. We have been awarded a CAMRA "Pub of the Season". We have 6 cask beers, 3 of which are guest ales which change regularly. Our regular ales are Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Robinson's Dizzy Blonde and Sharp's Doom Bar.
We have a wonderful decked area to the front of our pub where you can enjoy the sun and while away the day with a cool beer or a chilled wine or one of our many premium Gins, Whiskies and Rum.

Ohhh dear, what has happened? After previous visits earlier in the year, when the food was excellent we decided to go for end of week treat meal. The pub was virtually empty when we arrived, although tables were set up for a Christmas booking, even though the pub was empty we were left waiting at the bar to be served. Waited 45mins for a meal which was totally disappointing. Very, very greasy fish, teaspoon of cold peas and cold chips. Bread and butter ordered but never appeared. Didn't raise issues as the Christmas party booking had arrived, and what staff there was seemed rather stressed. Sadly on this experience we won't be returning.
Lack of management around when busy, kids are working hard behind the bar but lacks organisation and leadership, shame when it works well it’s a good pub and food is also quite good just lacks managers presence especially when events are on in Leyland and when very busy.
Been here before and food was great. Menu not as good as it used to be. Got fish instead of lasagne. Also waited about an hour for the food
Brilliant atmosphere, everyone so friendly as I don't live up that way. Food look fantastic. Will try next time up that way
Only the 2 stars as the pub is very clean and nicely decorated. The downfall is the rude member of staff trying to move us off a "reserved" table. (No reserved sign to be seen) Even though we had been sat there for 2 hours spending a decent amount of money on food and drink in the pub. I don't think the glares across the bar were necessary, safe to say we won't be returning.
