I used to love this pub until my daughter was forced to leave her job for ? well we don't know what for the landlords wife gave 4 different shocking reasons all of which was untrue ..there was dodgy dealings going on behind the counter which the brewery should be concerned at I gave this 1 star if I could leave none I would its gone down hill fast since new years eve
Was there for my sisters 50th Birthday. Been before a few times and always had good food, this time was a bit of a let down on the food front. The staff were lovely friendly and helpful can't fault the service. Starters: My sister and her daughter (Who is 8) had salt and pepper squid which they both enjoyed, Mum had the pate which you can't go to wrong with. I had the winter green soup, which I was disappointed in. It lacked seasoning and was a bit like dish water. Mains: My sister had the chicken with gnocchi off the specials which again she enjoyed, her daughter had the kids sausage beans and mash, unfortunately the beans were cold. Mum had the fish and chips with garden peas, again unfortunately the peas were cold. I had the chicken and mushroom pie with mash and veg, the pie was delicious, the pastry melted in your mouth it was lovely. My veg was barely warm. All in all not a complete let down just a shame a few elements let them down on the night.

New land lady! Absolutely marvellous. This place has been done up nicely. I'm so happy because it was in a right state previously. It's decked out to celebrate sports in all corners. I really do think they've brought it back from extinction and if you ever used to enjoy the Millstone you should definitely go back to taste the difference 😊👍
