I’ve been to lamb inn a lot over the years, today was my first time going in as a Mum. My 8 week old was screaming blue murder in his pram so I went in hoping to find a cosy corner to feed in. It was quite busy and I felt bad bustling in with a screaming baby, but the man behind the bar was wonderful - took my drink order, hid my pram away somewhere safe and allowed me to sit upstairs (which was closed) in a comfy booth - he even carried my drink for me! Really appreciated the kindness and will be back for date night once I’m ready to leave bubs with his Nana for the eve! Thank you!
Very disappointed with our meal we had here. After 3 attempts of visiting they were finally doing food, after previously being turned away. When ordering, my partners starter came out along with my main, then 5 minutes later my starter came along with my partners starter, very unorganised. My partner did not enjoy his sausage and mash, leaving most of the plate, and no staff member came to check if everything was okay. It is a pretty restaurant, but after our food disaster we don’t think it is worth returning
First ever trip to Norwich and was lucky enough to find this gem. Highly recommend. The food was delicious!!! Thank you.
I had sausage and mash at the lamb for lunch, it was a mixed bag, the sausages were poor quality and the mash was a tiny portion. However, I asked if it was possible to get some more and the waitress happily obliged. I had the chocolate brownie for desert, it was delicious if a little stodgy. £20 for the whole meal, it's worth a punt if you're in the city and the court yard is nice if you want to sit outside.
One of the best Sunday roasts we had. We had mixed meat and lamb shanks. Beer selection was great. Prices very reasonable. Service was prompt. The chocolate cake is so rich and yummy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here. We had an outdoor seat and the atmosphere was really great on a Sunday afternoon. Would come back anytime for another round of feast again. Well done Lamb Inn!
