The Lamb Inn is a Free House in the village of Spaxton at the foothills of the Quantocks. We are 5 miles from Bridgwater and about 10 miles from Taunton, in Somerset. We serve a wide range of drinks – beer, cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks and our kitchen serves delicious meals including home made pies.
Inside you’ll find attractive original features including beamed ceilings. Our open-plan bar has a wood burning stove and a cosy, traditional ambience. We have a darts board and a pool table (£1 a play) in our skittle alley.
We have a large car park and attractive pub garden to the rear – just the place to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal on fine summer days.
We welcome dogs and children.

No food, as the chef had left so can’t comment on food.
We went in after reading the TP review and it was amazing, the men who run it were lovely, the food was amazing. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Next time I am that way I will definitely be going back.
How is it still trading? Saturday night, 8pm, 2 chaps at the bar, warm beer been sat in the pipe for a long time, no one eating. Very run down inside and out. Access to beer garden through the skittle alley, old caravan and rotten car and falling down buildings. Really no idea how it's still open if this is its weekend trade .
Fabulous place and well worth seeking out. A lovely pub, welcoming hospitality, great service, amazing food (that lamb wow, that chef can cook!!) which is all genuinely home made, great selection of drinks. Highly recommended, we will definitely return.
Not a bad pub, but not amazing either. Small selection of local beers. Our food was alright but overpriced. Steak came overcooked and the veg was a little soggy. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but could have had a better experience with the food and drink.
