During the day you can relax in our grade II listed building or large decked beer garden. Whether it be a chat over coffee and cake, a few afternoon drinks or a great lunch chosen from our extensive menu.
Breakfast is served 8.30am till 3pm in the week, 10.30 till 3pm on a weekend. Our main menu is served from 11.30am.
During the evening and into the night krobar comes alive with regular band nights and club nights. Pre parties and after parties for academy gigs are also a regular feature.
We offer a large selection of continental beers and local guest ales. You can eat from our full menu until 9pm, a great way to start your night before going to your favourite gig.
KroBar has a large garden area at the rear of the building, the decking and tasteful furniture make it perfect for formal events as well as BBQ’s and themed parties.
Our conservatory, which can be hired separately or as part of the garden, can be opened out fully making a huge space available for your event. Outdoor heaters and glass sheltering enable us to provide outdoor space even when the weather isn’t perfect.

Only popped in briefly to meet up with friends before a gig. But good range of drinks, readoble prices. Plenty of seating inside and out the back. Outside seating is covered but not all heated. When we have more time would have a longer visit and have food. As from seeing what others had looked good.
Nice airy two-floor bar in the heart of University District. Nice food spotted on others' tables and a good selection of beers including Berliner pilsner.
Good beer, good food, nice seating option outside, inside seating is nice and cozy as well .. a shot of Akvavit reminding of Nordic country visits in the past ….
This place was a delightful find during my time at the hospital. Tired of the usual unhealthy fast food options, I stumbled upon this gem offering breakfast until 3 pm. I decided to try the hummus and avocado bagel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The flavors were spot on, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. To complement the meal, I ordered a delicious cup of coffee that further elevated the experience. I enjoyed it so much that I've already made plans to return tomorrow for breakfast. I just love it.
Really fantastic food, the nicest club sandwich I’ve ever had (I’ve come back for it twice) which is mostly what grants this place a good review. the location is nice and the outside area is well appreciated during summer. Only pointers is that customer service is often lacking in my experience, and the price is a little high for a university location. Okay selection of draught but could be better. another cider would be nice, even a different lager. Great varied menu with good veggie options. Overall, food just really great
