I had been told about this place but not managed to get to it until today. If you get stuck on a303 or just need a pit stop it is FAR better than many on the A303. It's a short diversion off at Podimore towards Somerton 2nd road on right then follow brown signs. Good car park friendly staff excellent menu using local ingredients. Not stupidly expensive well worth a look.
Fantastic menu, food was superb, service speedy and efficient. Our birthday treat visit was a good choice especially as it's so close to where we live.
Really tasty food, very reasonably priced. Warm and friendly, if it were nearer me I'd be there more often. (40 miles away)

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax with a warm and welcoming atmosphere Kingston Inn will take a lot of beating. The rooms a cottage style, comfy, spacious, beautifully decorated and very well maintained. But the very best bit is the food - it’s amazing! We honestly couldn’t find any faults and we’ll definitely be coming back very soon.
