A truly exceptional hotel. I stayed here over the Christmas period and managed to book a good deal for a standard king room last minute (literally 2 days before my arrival on Christmas Eve). The price was much cheaper than the standard advertised price. The room was lovely. Modern and yet felt historical complete with a small private patio to sit and unwind under the stars. The service was excellent throughout the stay, and there were some lovely touches, such as the manager leaving a handwritten personalised Christmas card to myself in the room. Also, I had ordered a cheese platter for one, but the chef accidentally prepared a platter for two, but the hotel kindly charged me for the one instead. The hotel was tastefully decorated with the perfect amount of festive decorations. The location was excellent...right in the heart of Cirencester in Market Place. All in all, I can't fault this hotel. An excellent choice...highly recommended!
We had lunch here in the brasserie after my wife and daughter had enjoyed the spa. It was excellent. Didn't have time to stay for the cocktail bar "The Vault" but that looked fabulous too
Hotel rooms are big with decent facilities. The staff are friendly. Reasonably priced too, except the bar, which is outrageous! Very limited parking, Waterloo car park is nearest and not too expensive, just unsettling when your car is out of sight six minutes walk away!
We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Veronica at reception was super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. All of the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The location is perfect, situated in the centre of Cirencester. I would highly recommend dining in their restaurant, the food was brilliant and customer service was the best we'd ever had.
Stayed here as a stopover before heading to Heathrow. First point of call was the reception where we were greeted by Joanna. Helpful funny and attentive, which was a great start to our stay. The room was big & lovely, bed was comfy & spacious. Evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast in the morning. Met Joanne again in reception to check out, again she was lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel.
