Ivo, Sarah & The team look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful pub on the edge of the historic market town of Atherstone.
With a passion for fresh food, we source all our meats from Coates of Tamworth and all other ingredients locally wherever possible, and our menu is prepared fresh daily by Head Chef Nate and his talented team. We serve food from 12 until 8PM everyday day except for Sundays where to ensure the best possible quality for our Sunday Roasts we finish at 4PM.
Our Bar never shuts before 10PM on weekdays, and serves a wide variety of drinks for every taste, including Real Ales, a wide variety of flavoured Gins and Ciders and a carefully curated wine list.
For a bit of entertainment join us on Thursdays for our professionally hosted quiz night or Wednesdays for a special deal on our high quality steaks.

Lovely food and great service.
Very clean and tidy (recently refurbished ?) canal-side pub with what looked like good outdoor seating. Lacked atmosphere on a Thurs lunchtime in early January but in summer I'm sure it will be heaving (?). Music started at a pleasant level then turned up for some reason. Good beer and Excellent cider, according to my wife. We didn't eat but the food looked and smelt excellent.
Highly recommend. We popped in for dinner after collecting our daughter from nursery. We didn’t book but were accommodated straight away next to the warm radiator. The service was excellent and the food came so quick, all hot and fresh. The atmosphere was lovely and I will be returning. Keep up the great work. Thanks for a lovely meal.
We went to the quiz last night and will be going again! We ate before hand with two of us having the sirloin, one burger and one scampi. All meals were perfect and delicious (and hot!), would highly recommend.
Great place to eat and have a drink. Food was plentiful, super tasty and a very reasonably priced. Also enjoyed all the 70s and 80s music playing. The pub and toilets were clean and the staff were very helpful and jovial. Also had a bowl full of every kind of sauce you can think of..
