Really lovely pub, awesome views from the gardens, a couple of two ales but not great for vegans which is I'm sure down to the brewery.
Stopped for a drink and a bowl of chips during a Sunday afternoon dog walk. Lovely village pub atmosphere. Friendly service.
Cosy pub, great for start and end of country walks. Good cask ales and reasonable meals- recommend the Sunday lunch!
Having previously lived in the area and knowing this was an old country pub with spectacular views I took my family back for Sunday lunch. The food was good and the service friendly but slow. We needed to delay one of the meals and this in the end took far too long to arrive. The toilets were a disgrace and would actually dissuade me from returning
Friendly staff and landlord, excellent and generously portioned food, spectacular vistas especially from the raised seating area near the car park. My wife and I love this pub and its location. It's just a pity we're an hour's drive away. :-(.
