Nice pub, popped in with family for a bite to eat and drink . Was quiet when we visited, but was midday. Food was nice and music playing but not too loud. Nice to get a cold drink on a hot day
Superb. Stumbled upon this place by chance after cycling from Canterbury. The service was so friendly and the food (Sunday roast) was off the charts. My wife and I are really fussy about roast dinners (we usually make our own because of that), but The Prince Albert nailed it. Great portion sizes and every single item on the plate was excellent. Can’t recommend this place enough. The vegetables were fresh, mange tout, carrots, parsnips and a red cabbage/leek combo - brilliant. Yorkshire pud was large and well risen and the pork and cracking was delicious.
I'd like to see some more local brews. However the pub does offer good drinks. No cooked food. Nice ambience. Very close to the beach.
Lovely little pub... great bar snacks and pouring delectable pints... it's a wee bit pokey but it adds to the charm. They have trouble taking card payments at times so take a bit of cash. It's a beautiful building.
We came across with this place by coincidence and I was positively surprised! I had the crispy chicken & brie wrap and tried the burger, they were both really good!!! The atmosphere is very enjoyable, they had Jamaican live music. Service was also good and prices were very reasonable!
