Great micropub, 3 ales and 5 ciders on offer. Dog friendly
Lovely little pub, with loads of character. Was a little disappointed to turn up on a hot day and find no lagers on tap - just small bottles of Moretti - but if you like assorted Ales you'll be happy here!
My local. It's brilliant. Based in an old stable and the staff are really friendly and help make the place welcoming. £3.50 a pint. They also have wine, gin and cider. They have a meat raffle on a Sunday. For food they serve the usual crisps, nuys and pork scratchings. But also home made scotch eggs and pork pies. And their cheeseboard is excellent value! Lovely log fire during the winter and great outdoor area for the summer including a sun deck that really catches the sun!
Yard of Ale, a classic name for a micro pub. We've been past this little gem a million time when we used to live near by however while visiting friends we decided to drop by for a pint. Great little place with indoor and out door seating. Great selection of local brews and ciders. My wife gave me a history lesson on the old building, a former undertakers building for keeping the deceased on ice. It's a very old building. So we tipped our pints in the thier honour. Over the few days I had a Kent brewery pint, a Wantsum (Golgotha) and a Tonbridge (American IPA) My wife had a Harry's cider (scrummage), had a few of them in the past and an Old Rosie. Super value for money and a great little Gem. Well done 👊👊
Great micro pub. Enclosed yard with a variety of spread out seating and with retractable canopy and a lovely atmosphere of old world feeling. Serving hatch was via the barn door which was cool. We didnt go inside as the weather was great but that looked very old too. Very dog friendly. Nice section of beers and a lovely ambience. There was a steady stream of a variety of people passing through and chatting but there always seemed to be some space left. There was quite a bit of seating
