Really lovely place , the manager has such cheerful personality it just really lights up the place. The settings is perfect. You will get to meet lovely folks in there Price of Drinks and food just perfect. I recommend the karaoke every Friday with Lauren. So much fun and dancing. A dog friendly pub Jesmond arms is a 10/10 for me.
Fully refurbished and most pleasant to sit in and enjoy a pint. I find the John Smith bitter can be of varying taste quality but when it's at it's best it is superb. All sport events are available on high quality screens. I will have to visit a few more times to see if clientele are appropriate and those who used to tarnish it's reputation have been refused entry. Good luck to the new owners and I hope to see you on a regular basis.
Don't do food but the best pub on holderness Road the bar staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome

The Jesmond Arms is a nice pub. There is a good selection of beer, although no real ale, but cheaper than a lot of pubs, really excellent value, the worthingtons was the cheapest pint I've had anywhere. They also have menus for cocktails. There are plenty of large screen TVs, it's excellent for watching sports. It's a good pub for playing pool or Darts as the bar games are away from the main part of the pub. The whole place is really nicely done out to a high standard, there is outside seating and the staff are really nice and friendly. If you're on Holderness road it's definitely worth calling in for a drink.
