Great ales and a superb steak and ale pie,lovely staff.
Checked in right after we got off the ferry. The guy running the bar/hotel was amazing and very friendly! Definitely would recommend staying here to anybody looking for something that feels like home. The rooms were great! And the people down in the pub that we met were great!!
Only visited as we had a 5 hour wait for cancelled ferry's. Glad we did, great food and given that they were busy the service was swift and polite. Only a 4* for food, I felt the burger filling could have been bigger, as you'll see in the photo. Tasted amazing though!
I came into this place for one pint and finished up having 5 instead. Meeting up with a couple from Dundee and trying to decipher their accent, which became harder and harder as the night grew longer. Nice venue with a few ales on tap.
Comfy bar and good food. Certainly much better than most pub grub. And very good price to.
