This place is amazing, you are greeted by a beaming smile by the owner, Cheryl, who makes a point of remembering your name and making this place as homely and comfortable as she possible. The rooms are really nice including the bunkhouse. The reception area, lounge, bar and games room are that of a luxurious country house. The food is also incredibly good. We could not have felt more at home and Cheryl is kind, bubbly and always up for a friendly chat.

Great experience. Very welcoming place. Cheryl is a great host. Upon my arrival by bicycle, Cheryl came rushing out and made sure that I felt welcome - exceptional. My single room was just fine. Small to be sure, but just what I wanted. The hotel building itself may be old, but there's obviously been some work done to upgrade the bathrooms (good job too). The lounge area was very nice. The food was good. I had a very nice evening in the bar chatting with local folks, the bartender and some of the other guests. Breakfast was brilliant - exactly what I needed to fuel the last 80 miles of my 1350 mile bike through England and Scotland. I had a great time here and recommend it unreservedly (even though I did make a reservation).

Unbelievable week stay at Invershin. Staff can not do enough. We were a group of motorcycles and car and was the perfect venue. Staff helped with tools etc when we had a breakdowns. They also arranged late meals whilst we were out on NC500. We will be back next year. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay brilliant.

Stayed here as 1st customers of the season on a recent bicycle tour. Cheryl was very very welcoming, a perfect host. Food was fantastic and the facilities were first class. Rooms were good. Bar was lovely and cosy and a lovely cooked breakfast was served before we continued our route. Will definitely revisit.

Great location and even better welcome and hospitality! Cheryl and her staff are as warm as the open the fire in the traditional pub, where I had a lovely home cooked meal and some ‘very generous’ large glasses of wine before hitting a very comfortable sack. All for about £50! Great value and highly recommended. So thankful for places like this. Especially when no camping options nearby and forecast is rain.
