I have seen the business change since March 2018 from a Traditional Pub into a popular Pub/Restaurant but taking great care of our customers & without losing the soul of this charming country inn
Also, my amazing kitchen team, Tom, Caroline, Rita, Kev & Meg who are the support behind our success along with our fabulous Front Of House Team Cara, Lisa, Suzanne, Jolie & Kerry.

Self-Catering Cottage. I was lucky to have the chance to take over the Management of this 17th century country inn in March 2018. I still, if not more, have the same passion, love and energy for this unique country inn.

We had a wonderful Xmas lunch at this inn. Food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We are all vegetarians but we had a great choice of food and really enjoyed our meals.
We had a fantastic meal here after a tough morning trying to get out following snowfall. The food was very good and what made the experience extra special was the fantastic service we received from Elli. Thank you Elli for all your help.
The location is lovely and the outside is clean. There is a good sized car park to the side. A play area for children is a lovely addition along with nice outdoor seating. On entering the pub we were greeted by a friendly face and quickly shown to our table. Our order was taken by a very friendly lady and drinks arrived quickly. Sadly the food let the whole experience down. Very average and not the most tasty. Considering the prices, I expected better
Popped in for a late lunch. Friendly welcoming staff, great sized portions with prompt service. Good looking outdoor seating area for those sunny times. Good value for money too
Today was the second time we've visited and we were again very impressed by the service and the welcome you receive on entering, they made a huge fuss of the dog, service was very fast with little wait time, food was very nice with generous portions and a large menu to choose from, throughout the whole meal were made to feel welcome. Couldn't fault any part of it will definitely visit again. As a side note I would recommend calling to book in advance to guarantee getting a table as it is a popular place.
