Key responsibilities will be:
• Welcomes customers when they arrive at the venue
• Introduces customers to the menu and announces daily or seasonal menu specials
• Answers questions about menu items, ingredients, and pricing
• Takes customers food and drink orders, passing them to kitchen staff for preparation
• Prepares drinks and serves them to customers
• Collects food orders from the kitchen, verifies that they are correct, and serves them to the customers
• Removes used dishes, glasses, and crockery from the tables
• Prepares and processes payment of the customers’ bills of
• Sets table with dishes, glasses, etc for the next guests
• Maintains familiarity with menu items, specials, and restaurant information
• Attendance at regular staff meetings to learn about menu changes and specials and any upcoming reservations
