Lovely food. VERY TASTY. Both starter and main had a bunch of flavour and were very well cooked. Staff were lovely, friendly and quick service. Christmas decs made it such a lovely atmosphere. Really like the blankets available for a cosy meal!
Lovely oub, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food wasn't bad, I had chicken pie which was quite tasty but I was disappointed with the 'honey glazed carrots' sounded delicious but only got two very small chunks. Came with 'seasonal' veg which turned out to be broccoli (one floret head sliced in two) and peas...I'm not sure garden peas are seasonal. The biggest disappointment was the price of the drinks, two lime and lemonades in large size but wasn't a very big glass costing £12.50 (£7.50 lemonade/£4.50 for lime). I think that would put us off returning. Service was good and as I said the staff were lovely.
Chester was packed so we popped in on the way back. Food was lovely, staff great, nice and cosy. Top marks
Food was nice but could have had more steak in the pie, service was great really friendly and attentive, place is really clean and tidy nice relaxing atmosphere,other then more filling in the pie I would recommend a visit here
Nice little find this on a rainy day on my walk. Great 👍 location. Pint of Madri £6.00. Bottle of Pinot Grigio £19.49 when I popped in (September 2023).
