So a little about Hidden, all of our parties/event are exclusive for the occasion, so many places offer “parties” in a back room or out the way, we built Hidden to cater for events, parties, celebrations and club nights on an exclusive basis. This means you and your guests get full access to the venue for the duration of your event without being bothered by the public. We are licensed from 7pm until 6am and have a 350 capacity. If your party would benefit from an earlier start, from 12 for example for a christening, we can cater for that too, a little more notice is required so we can apply to the council.
We boast a fantastic sound and light system, which allows us to cater for smaller more intimate parties with background music and subtle lighting to full production clubnights and anything in between. We’ve a load of special effects devices installed too bringing smoke, co2 effects, confetti, gobos and lasers. We aim to look and sound amazing. Our sound system has full connectivity, bringing complete flexibility for hosts, some prefer to do their own music via Spotify or similar, some prefer to hire a Dj, some want live performances, we are happy to work with what works for you 💃
Decor is a fresh modern vibe which we work with hosts to fully customise to suit their event, this can be a simple colour scheme with the mood lighting or full decoration transformation with one of the room dressing companies we work with. Of course you can do this yourself if you prefer 🎈
We don’t have any silly rules about in house catering, or specific requirements, some people don’t want food, some like to let friends or family do the catering, some outsource to a company and some go to a local takeaway place and get pizzas delivered 🍕
We are a family friendly venue, and happy to accommodate guests with youngsters accompanied by an adult all night long. Our bar and security team are vigilant, anyone who looks under the age of 25 will need to provide ID to purchase alcohol 🥃
We’ve a huge beer garden, granted the weathers turning miserable but it acts as a fantastic space for guests to spill over into, take their drinks, have a cig, quieter chat etc.
More for under 18 celebrations, we can offer all inclusive soft drinks as part of the hire fee, with the above options to assist for food, decor and music. Of course you are welcome to do any of this yourself 🙌. Parties without alcohol provision can be anytime throughout the day.

Absolutely great venue with friendly and helpful staff! I was looking for the perfect venue to host a baby shower for my brother and his fiancé, I looked at quite a few places across the area and everything was so overpriced. I saw hidden on google and thought it was worth checking out, when I went down to see the venue it was just amazing and knew it was exactly what I’d been looking for. John and his staff stayed in touch and helped me organise the event whilst also making sure it ran smoothly on the day! Definitely helped lower my stress levels and meant I could also relax and enjoy the event! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special venue for any event!
Firstly the stars reflect this place as a children's party venue IF changes aren't made to account for certain things. Took my 6 year old to a friend's birthday party here, 2nd time attending a party at this venue. Friendly staff on the whole. The area is contained but nothing to stop children running off outside except their parents as the door has no locking mechanism. They put a great bit of decoration on with big number lights and some indoor sparklers which look terrifying but are very WOW. They have smoke machines and music galore which the kids love and confetti cannons. What they need to do is fix the corner of their bar which is at perfect head height for kids. My daughter ran into it, and as kids don't have spacial awareness and run at breakneck speeds she smashed into it on her ear and had a massive split over the top of her ear which was swollen and purple. Now if the venue were to put some kind of cardboard barrier or display blocking the corner it would make it so kids didn't try running under it/right past it. Also maybe don't let other kids move the bean bags into the middle of the floor blocking other routes (steering games of Tig into the area where the corner of the bar is). TLDR: Nice venue for a kids party where you can have a couple of hours where the kids go mental as they should. But some health and safety concerns which should be looked at by management or any parents looking to book. N.b. in the picture it is the corner of the bar sticking out and the barrel isn't out during kids parties.
100% recommend!! From the very beginning we knew we’d found the perfect venue for my Mum’s 60th birthday party. John organised the best party, allowed me to call him whenever, video called to show me around the venue and met with my Dad to see it in person. He passed on details for the perfect caterers, helped us to pick out balloons and made sure to pass on all of our requests e.g. low noise and lighting. On the night Darren literally could not have done any more for us. He pretended to be on the door like a restaurant and managed to get mum to go in first. He was always asking if everything was ok and made sure we had a plan in place to sing happy birthday and play mums favourite song straight after. The bar staff were so so lovely too!! Mum had the BEST 60th birthday party! Many MANY thanks!
I recently attended my sisters 21st birthday party here at Hidden. I was extremely impressed with the bar staff and their service that everyone and myself received. The room is spacious and comfortable with lighting and smoke effects that are subtle. There is enough seating for everyone and areas to stand and talk too. It did get warm so I’d suggest air conditioning for warmer months apart from that nothing to fault! The outside area is closed off and private for people who are attending the event. I will be recommending Hidden for all events to my friends and work friends.
We literally cannot recommend this place enough for any event. My daughter wanted something cool and a bit different for her birthday and this place didn't disappoint. From our first meeting with John to the actual night itself, everything ran like clockwork. John answered any questions and helped with all the preparations taking away any stress. Shannon absolutely smashed the deco, the balloons and table decs were fab. He made the presenting the cake and singing happy birthday so fun with great confetti cannons. Nothing was too much trouble.
