For someone who has only been drinking gin for a year, this place was a little overwhelming! Fortunately I was with some aficionados and the staff were also very helpful. The atmosphere is laid back, decor undoubtedly cool and drinks all presented with little flourishes - blackberries in my mulberry Gin. The menu is extensive, so I personally picked a flavour I like (red berries) and went with that. I will definitely go back, maybe for gin tasting. A good end to the evening.
Not bad, but nothing special. It's on the expensive side, and I would have liked more detail on the menu about the different gins. I appreciate that the bar staff may be able to offer that information but that's not easy if the bar is busy. Not a venue I'll rush back to.
Very nice gins and even tonics! My Girlfriend who always hated gin loved her drink. Music is a little bit loud but always has been in whatever guise this place has been. Small venue but with plenty of seats an a small area for standing. Not cheap but worth it.
Had a great night. Really friendly staff and a good selection of Gin. Thoroughly recommended.
Popped in to see what all the hype is about and was dead excited to go somewhere new. In my opinion it is all hype. Lots of drinks to chose from but no staff to serve as their noses were buried deep in their phones. Overheard a member of staff (I assume some kind of manager) being rude about someone and not the kind of words you want to hear when you want a drink. More like a pretentious palace than gin palace. Left the ‘palace’ after waiting, not just because of the wait but because the atmosphere was a bit dull and it was cheaper to buy a bottle from supermarket / get 2 rounds else where, so we went across the street which was so much better Sorry
