The Heron is a community pub with a strong football following. The bar is spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a broad variety of regulars from every age group which contributes to the lively atmosphere and the friendly banter. There are often Karaoke, Open Mic Nights or live Music at the weekends and a full Sky sports package for those that follow the footie.

We dined here whilst on holiday and were immensily impressed with every dish we had! We are Italians and believe you me, Italians are ultra fussy when it comes to dining out. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat excellent food cooked by an excellent cook!!

Great pub with friendly staff an well looked after beer. Has a very undeserved rep after the sky program on roughest pubs. Clean an bright with really friendly locals . A proper pub in all senses . Well worth a visit.
