The pub was taken over by a community group in the spring of 2012 to save the pub from closing and potentially being lost forever. With the assistance of the previous landlord and the owners of the building, the Heneage family, the community group were able to open the pub and work on building up the trade to ensure the long term survival of the pub.
Ordered the extra large fish , but fish was not that large at all...disappointed tbh. Mentioned this to one of the staff, her reply " they are all the same size, we don't do extra large " Live and learn I guess

Had an amazing time celebrating a birthday with friends and family. Food was incredible, super cosy inside with all of the fires and the service was good too. Highly recommended.

We gratefully happened on The Heneage Arms on a weekend in Lincolnshire. It was a great find. The staff were obliging and friendly and the Sunday lunch was excellent - one of the best we've had in ages and great value for money. Portions were generous and the vegetables, in particularly, were cooked to perfection.
