In the twenty-first century, it’s hard to stand out as an artist; twenty two-year-old singer/songwriter Ty Lewis does just that. With his smooth, raw tone and ability to encapsulate an audience with just one note, he has grown from a young, shy boy who hid behind his microphone, to an up and coming artist making his mark in the music industry. Skilled in both guitar and piano, performing is like second nature for Ty & a lifelong love of music turned into a passion at a young age, and developed into the start of a career throughout his teenage years, when he began working on songwriting and also music production, making him a triple threat and a force to be reckoned with.
Ty went on to reach the quarter finals of The Voice UK in 2020, mentored by Olly Murs, but his many accomplishments stretch far from just a TV talent show; playing at The O2 Arena London, Utilita Arena, O2 Academy Newcastle and countless festivals across the country are just a few of Ty’s highlights as a performer. He has supported international artists, such as Scouting For Girls and R&B legend Alexander O’Neal, and has also worked with numerous charities, including Black Lives Matter, Cash For Kids North East, and the Charlie Gard Foundation.
