Good service but the food was disappointing. Good presentation but the lasagne was too salty unfortunately, I had to send it back mostly untouched. The halloumi fries were nice. The hunters chicken was OK too. I'd probably go for drinks again but maybe not the food.

I've been coming here for a few years, and the atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and chilled. The food consistently impresses with generous portions and authentic home-cooked flavors. The stew chicken is particularly amazing! I highly recommend it.

Visited with my family this afternoon. The Hayloft was busy when we arrived, and when we ordered food we’re told there would be a 30 minute wait for food, which we didn’t mind. To our surprise, food arrived within 20 minutes so we were impressed with this service. My 13 month old daughter was able to have chicken fillet, rice and peas, a nice healthy option for kids which was good to see and she enjoyed her meal very much. We felt that the main meals were quite small for the price we paid (about £13 each) so we did not feel this was good value for money. I had the sweet potato curry which was quite dry - the meal came with naan bread and a popadom but there wasn’t really enough sauce in the curry to dip this into. My mums meal was nice although there wasn’t much fish in the fish and chips, but the batter and chips were nice. Our desserts were all tasty, the ice-cream and the chocolate fudge cake, which was a good portion size. We probably wouldn’t visit again mainly due to the meal sizes for the price.

We decided to pop out for dinner last night as it was a lovely evening. Initially tried another pub but that was really busy so decided to come here as it wasn't too far. Surprisingly wasn't as busy as I thought it'd be as I've driven past numerous times and the beer garden to the front is always busy on sunny days. Managed to get a table and was able to order drinks and meals at the bar. Staff were really friendly and upon ordering our meals was surprised to learn that mine and my wife's main meals were 2 for £15! As meals go, they were nice and kids enjoyed theirs. Can't complain for the price either. Would highly recommend trying and was surprised how nice it was.

I really enjoyed the nachos, it’s the first time I’ve come across decent homemade nachos where they wasn’t burnt or deep fried and just thrown onto a plate with nothing with them. The meat was very succulent and juicy, it’s a shame they didn’t have any offers like family offers or Sunday offers, but I must admit it was very comfortable with its rustic Barn theme they have going and the food was very nice :)
