Harry Pursey proved to be one of the most budget-friendly pubs in the area, especially with the focus on Worthington's. Despite the emphasis on affordability, the staff and the pub itself were top-notch. The availability of darts and pool added to the entertainment, making it a place where you could easily while away a few hours. Just a small note of humor, as it used to be a Wetherspoons, the toilets felt like a bit of a hike! Haha!
Great establishment, nice beer and was a relaxing atmosphere, the only fault is that the bogs are miles away and upstairs, I felt like I was in a Wetherspoons.
Such a beautiful atmosphere. Services cheaper than expected. And the attendant is so cool and versatile.
Good beers. All the sports on tvs you can watch and a nice friendly pub.
A well kept pub with a neat layout. I particularly like the natural light coming in around the bar, the barrels and brickwork behind it make for a well presented place to be served. You can tell this was a Wetherspoons at one point as the long journey to the toilets up some stairs is fitting. You might notice some very old but very good quality pictures of Hull on your way up the stairs too. It's very much a local men's favourite but that by no means should suggest it's in any way unfriendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming as you'd expect on a Sunday. Booze on draught is quite possibly the cheapest you'll find anywhere these days. It's an all round pleasant pub to visit.
