Really enjoyed our experience here! Staff were so helpful and really attentive to our needs. Food was beautiful and great portion sizes and the best gravy!! Sat by the real fire and loved the whole experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to try the pies and other exciting things on the menu and visit on other days of the week for live music and quiz’s. So happy it’s reopened!! Well done everyone!
Been waiting for an hour for food now. They said a couple of minutes when it was 30 minutes after we ordered. Slow service and not busy at all. Needs a shake up this place. UPDATE: When the food eventually arrived it was badness. I literally couldn’t eat the sausages. Need to get Gordon Ramseys Kitchen nightmares to this place.
Writing this review after waiting over 50 minutes for no food to arrive, pub fairly empty and still no service. Not impressed. Would not return UPDATE: After asking staff @ 50 mins from order where our food was, we were told 2 minutes! 15 minutes later, 4 garlic breads arrived, in various states of cook, mostly burnt. Still waiting for the rest of the food to arrive. Nearly died of starvation at this point and considered asking for refund and going somewhere else. I could have driven home and cooked a Sunday roast in this time!
Hare and hounds in Todmorden On a Friday night Expensive for burnt toast. Order BLT which is on toasted bread Toast was burnt and hardly any bacon in one part of sandwich. Young barman ask us if everything ok I said burnt toast and he just said oh and walked off ? Also our first choice didn't have wanted hot beef baguette and fish and chips disappointed they didn't have so went for BLT as third choice x Just disappointed that we were ask if everything ok but nothing was done when we said we weren't????
We didn't have any food, although what we saw looked good, so we'll eat there on the future. The atmosphere was great, and it's doggy friendly. We'll definitely go in again.

Situated on the main rod opposite Todmorden cricket club this put is full of character. Cask ale served in a both lounge and tap room
