Best Guinness in the area, and still at an affordable price. I miss the pie restaurant next door, I don't think they offer food currently.
Recently moved to the area and heard about this ‘nice’ traditional Irish pub. Came in to watch the football, sat down for 2 minutes, coats still on, thought the barmaid was coming over to greet us but we were met with rudeness and snarky comments about not buying a drink straight away. We confronted the rude, older barmaid which was met with further rudeness. Will definitely not be our new local. Very unwelcoming pub.
Such a shame.. was really looking forward to coming here seeing good reviews but the older barmaid was extremely rude. Make sure if you come here to buy a drink IMMEDIATELY or face sarcastic and passive aggressive comments… we hadn’t even taken our coats off and we were hounded to buy a drink or leave. Not the most welcoming pub…assuming they’re not too keen on any younger newbies!
Cozy pub with the sweetest staff. Cheap compared to other places on the same road. Got the best cider (inch cider) for 4.40 pounds each. Highly recommended.
A wonderful place, real welcome and good beer. Down to earth and really pleasant. Thoroughly recommended for a visit.
