An Adnams pub overlooking (and sometimes in!) the River Blyth in Southwold, serving the finest & freshest local seafood.
Right on the water’s edge, The Harbour Inn is a proper old Fisherman’s pub - warm, workmen-like and wonderfully buzzy, with nautical charm in abundance.
It is part of the Adnams pubs family and serves an interesting and reliable range of well-kept beers and spirits, and wines too – just what you need after a blustery beach walk.
The daily menu showcases the freshest and finest local seafood including shrimps, sardines, monkfish, herring milts, with other pub classics too.
The cosy corners of the bars lend themselves to small groups, whilst the light and airy fishing shed lends itself to larger parties with outstanding views over The River Blyth and Southwold marshes.
The Harbour Inn is part of a quirky and characterful community of businesses on Southwold Blackshore – pop down and check them out for yourself!
P.S Everyone’s welcome – dogs and children included.

A true to life, historic old fisherman’s pub. Cracking location, harbour view. Adnams pub, all I need to say about the food is ‘best fish & chips ‘ I’ve ever eaten!! Truly. Out of this world!! Elle had Scampi, again brilliant!! A definite winner!!!
Such a lovely pub to visit, the food is always good with Adams beers on tap. Can't fail.Always popular with dog walkers etc.Have paid a visit there many times.
A great find, great food friendly staff and great views. Went twice to eat as food was so good
Great pub located a short walk from Soutwold. Beers very well kept and served, with good selection of Adnams ales. Of course, it goes without saying food prices have gone up, but the quality is still top notch too, so retrospectively, it was OK by us to spend what we did for the food we had. Beautiful location with fine ales and the chance to walk off fish and chips with a walk along the coastal path, would do it every day if possible.
Great food and beer was really well kept. Went in with the family, and all six of us had a meal. Food was served very quickly, and all was of good quality, no complaints at all. The only downside was the number of dogs allowed in the place not great when you're sitting eating with dogs everywhere.
