We recently visited here as a group of 14 , we all had lovely food , the staff were welcoming and efficient .all our orders were present and correct. We had a few young children with us and they were made to feel welcome also.the deserts were really beautifully presented , I had the blackcurrant torte which looked and tasted divine . They had a nice selection of drinks too, I was pleased to discover they had my Seville orange hin in stock and the coffee was excellent too. We didn't feel rushed , and the waitresses were very friendly morning was too much trouble for them.

Atmosphere and drinks were nice, good really wasn’t acceptable for the price . There are so many nice pubs in the area that are a similar price that blow this off place away on food. It’s a shame because we’ve wanted to go for a while. The staff were nice and helpful too

Nice food, everything was presented beautifully, however the parsnip was still quite raw and hard unfortunately. All the other food was lovely. Service was good and the open fires are really cozy.

Lovely Sunday roast in a nice cozy atmosphere next to a log fire. Staff were helpful, funny and friendly - especially Jam and Selina. Starters: prawn cocktail and brie bites. Main: beef and pork belly roasts. Desserts: Ice cream and blackcurrant torte. All delicious 10/10

We came here on a rainy Saturday whilst camping in the dales. We brought our dog Dwight, and spent 3 hours here eating and waiting for our children to join us, everything was amazing. It’s a good job we don’t live close to this pub, else we’d never do anything else. We had such a lovely meal here, the food was incredible, the service was second to none. Will 100% always recommend
