Welcome
The Hand and Trumpet in Wrinehill, next to Betley, is a beautiful (though we say it ourselves) country pub.
Inside you will find classic old floors, rugs, open fires, books and old furniture. Many places to squirrel away in or if you choose rub shoulders at the bar. Outside we have a deck that extends from the pub to make the most of those sunnier days, it looks out over the gardens and the pond which create the perfect view to waste many an hour on.

Been loads of times before... Fish and chips and beef dinner was ok ... Fish tho was full of grease and batter way too thick..!. Have they changed the chef ?? ...Small spoon of peas and frozen chips that looked like they were from a kebab shop last night .. won't be going back again very disappointed ☹️. Understand why nobody came to ask us if everything was ok with the food...
Popped in here as we were driving past and got peckish. They managed to accomadate us although they seemed fully booked. Lovely place, nice atmosphere, food was lovely. Friendly staff. Would defo recommend.
Went for a family pre-christmas meal earlier today, and was very impressed. The variety on the menu was nice to see, service was fast and attentive, and it felt like a nice friendly atmosphere. Radiators were a touch too warm, and unfortunately due to the layout of the tables we were close to it for a while. This meant a couple of our party had to keep stepping out, but we were grateful to the restaurant for fitting such a large party as ourselves in, so not a big gripe really!
Food was delicious, good service. I would recommend it
Had a lovely family meal, the setting is beautiful, plenty of seating inside and out. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. The prices were average, and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend this place.
