First and foremost we are a brewpub, with a 110-seater restaurant and 2 well stocked bars. We are proud to be part of England’s micro-brewery boom and it is our mission to bring quality, craft ale to our home town. A totally independent company, owned by 2 friends and a team of 41 cheerful staff – we brew our award winning, super-duper ales, right here on the premises.
From New age hop-bombs to black as your hat, stouts and porters, our Brewers don’t miss a trick and are constantly tinkering to bring you another, thirst quenching and delicious ale.

Food was OK, but quite expensive. £19 for a burger which was a little dry. £10 for a dessert. Service was poor. Asked for mayo and didn't arrive. Cutlery had to be asked for after each course had arrived, when it was delivered there was not enough cutlery and had to ask again. Very inattentive, and it wasn't busy. Building is lovely and nice atmosphere. Go for a beer but would not advise eating there. Quite a lot of vegan and vegetarian options.
Great place to spend a couple of ours, drinking beer or eating one of the great pies. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very nice and charming.
Lovely microbrewery and tap near Southampton Town Quay. Great beer selection, lots of seating inside and out. In a very historic building.
Nice Pub, good service, food is fine and usually a good choice of beers.
We arrived late at 20:40, the kitchen closes at 21:00 but they were happy to squeeze us in. We asked the waitress for some drink recommendations, she recommended a couple of pale ales they were delicious. She clearly seemed knowledgeable about the different drinks/flavours they offered. We went for Vagrant and Big Casino. We ordered the Rag and Bone, the food arrived quickly and it was delicious. Lovely atmosphere inside, good music playing, clean and welcoming. We aren’t from the area but we would love to come back one day!!
