A great country pub...
The Foresters is a great country pub located in the middle of the woodland between Church Crookham and Aldershot. Decorated with wood taken from the plentiful trees around the building, the place steeped in history. The Foresters was first licensed in 1857!
The perfect place to stop after your woodland walk!.

We have found that The Foresters is somewhat unique not only for its location but the Pub and Restaurant are not what we have come to expect from the other chains. It’s welcoming and very comfortable in all respects. Staff are good and relaxed. Prices all depend on what you have. If you want a budget lunch it’s available as are higher prices for an enjoyable good cut of Steak. Wines are varied and fit for all. We will be back many times during 2024.
Turned up for a late lunch. Had liver and bacon. Delicious. A little reassuring wait so happy food was freshly prepared. Enjoyed a cask ale or two. Manageress and waiting staff were lovely and friendly. All in all a great experience.
My husband and I visited The Foresters for lunch. We had our dog with us also as we’d been walking in the woods with her. The staff made us all very welcome and the pub had a dog friendly dining area which was perfect. The food was very good. Good portions but not ridiculously huge, which suited us. My husband had the minted lamb pie and I had the rack of ribs. They were nicely presented, hot and both choices were very tasty. We haven’t been to The Foresters for quite a long time, but following our enjoyable visit we will definitely be returning. It’s perfectly placed for dog walkers!
Great pub set in the Hampshire woodland which surrounds it with lovely walks. The pub itself is in keeping with its surroundings and has a lovely homely, cosy feel to it. The staff are super friendly and the place is very dog friendly in the bar area only with treats and water on hand for your four legged friends. The food is very scrumptious, with different meal sizes to suit your hunger, and came out in very good time and piping hot Although this place is on the pricier side, it's definitely worth a visit as the ingredients used are of higher quality and doesn't look like the Brake Bros warm up jobs you get elsewhere. We will definitely visit again when in the area.
