Very unwelcoming to the point of rude cash only, no children, and thus no punters. Don’t waste your time
Lovely country pub. Landlord been there for over 50 years.
Perfect if you want a real authentic pub, with good prices and lovely locals.
One of the nicest pubs on my list of favourites: no pretence, hand written menus, fish pie that burns your lips, hot plates that stick to your skin. Great beer, skittles and food.
Nice, small village pub with a bit of rural charm but, considering it's in the CAMRA guide, I was a tad disappointed on my last visit to find only one ale on - Dartmoor Brewery's "Dartmoor IPA" - which seemed a little tired to my palate. Just goes to show that if you don't get enough punters even CAMRA can't help. Shame as it now ranks below average with me and I'm not likely to return.
