Had lunch in this beautiful place, the food, the service and the ambience were superb. Such lovely abd friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Waited ages for food, they weren’t busy. Food arrived cold and minus some ingredients. Lots of things missing off menu. Lovely lady served us and tried to make amends. People behind us were waiting for puddings and had to leave because they were forgotten.
We have been past this place a number of times and have been very busy each time. However, on this occasion, they were quiet, so we popped in for the first time. Inside is very quaint, but you do have to watch your head as the beams coming across are very low. The food was great, full of flavour and a real delight to eat. Quality condiments enhanced the food. I am sure we will visit again.
I was couple times there. Really nice and authentic british pub. If you want a great range glass of beer you definitely will find it there. The pub is very old, the interior has been kept as much as possible. Good prices and wild variety of food are a bonus. Always welcomed staff. Highly recommend!
A stunning location for a well-known pub I visited as a youngster, We met a very good friend here for Sunday Lunch and it was an incredible experience... Living overseas it's been many years since visiting and was well worth the travel... Service, Ambience and food were absolutely outstanding !! Highly recommended !! Will visit again and again when back in England
