Fantastic local. Just brilliant little pub with proper real ales with something always new added. Andrew and Angie are lovely. Really create a friendly atmosphere. So pleased to be living close to this gem.
A race course with a bit of the old and new about it. Stupid ridiculous prices at the public bars. I wish someone would get a grip of this problem. Low and behold very little queueing at the bars. £6.50 for abysmal Carling. £7 for keg Atlantic oale ale, £6.50 for Aspalls cider. If that does not put you off buying a pint, I don't know what does. It's time for me to pay a subscription to the racing channels and forgo my 10 to 12 visits per year to racecourses. Enough is Enough! Please accept my sincere apologies for the above post. I was reviewing two visits to racecourses on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon. This was intended for Leicester Racecourse and I inadvertently posted on this site. Again I am truly sorry for the offence occurred.
The alcohol they have here, is bar none, the staff are super nice and really welcoming. You receive a conversation that you wouldn’t get at a normal pub. The prices here are absolutely amazing compared to any other place. I really recommend.
Great place for for a pint of cider or beer! Amazing welcoming staff and all covid secure! Well worth a visit if you are hillside and also they do some lovely snacks!
Lovely. Friendly family run micro pub. Started by a collective of home brewers. 5 real ales on, well chosen and well kept. The pub is two shops wide so has plenty of seating, with a lovely outdoor area at the front and exceptionally cute back yard. Toilets are nice and clean too. Well worth a visit
