Lovely, lively, welcoming traditional pub. Good food - try the pies. A couple of well kept beers on hand pump. Very friendly jolly staff. Dog friendly. Ticks all the boxes!
Great pub. Good selection of drinks and helpful staff. We stayed locally and wish we had a pub like this on our village .
Great local pub in Mickleton village. Just off the main road in the village, turning down the road opposite Morrisons Local shop. Traditional old style pub offering great pub grub and ales too. Had a 9 pin skittle alley to the rear and decent amount of seating inside and outside. Off road parking available to the side. Staff are really friendly and happy to advise on food, local places and beers too TV in the bar showing sport as well. Great place
It was a private group booking in the skittles alley part of the pub. Food was variable. Excellent 1st course with good choice. However the desserts hadn't been allowed to defrost long enough and still too firm to push a spoon in. I had to ask to have my lemon meringue pie popped in the microwave - which they did. Others soldiered on with there's. One lady commented " I'm waiting for mine to reach room temperature ". We enjoyed playing skittles. The garden looked attractive. Tight parking, but enough.
Stopped over in our Motorhome. Made very very welcome The food was absolutely amazing. One of the best steak pies I have ever had, Make sure that you have an elastic waistband as the portions are generous. I couldn't even consider ordering the Sticky Toffee Pudding as I was so sated If you are a Motorhomer do NOT drive past this place Landlord is very friendly. Two utterly beautiful and friendly dogs Despite being at a pub, never heard a thing Quiet stopover. Highly recommended

I've been the licensee for the past 12 months now. The pub was closed for around 3 years so we are currently working towards restoring this little gem.

Get ready to experience classic comfort and hospitality in our honey-hued Cotswolds’ stone Grade II-listed inn. Originally built as a country house more than 400 years ago, it’s now a welcoming pub with rooms and restaurant.
