Absolutely cracking pub!! Live on Union Grove and even if I didn’t, I would make the effort to come here. The staff have always got a smile on and give you a good conversation. Normally local pubs can be a bit cliquey, but every time I’ve been in, everyone chats with everyone. And it’s very dog friendly!!! It’s what pubs should all be like. They have mastered the friendly feel to a pub and well done to all!!!!

Couldnt pay with cash! First time in my 60+ yrs on this planet a bar has refused actual money. You need to get Export back on draught - the current selection of ales is poor. On the plus side, the barmaid was a gem. Very helpful to us.
Lovely staff. Great atmosphere. Food was amazing! Highly recommend.
Paid a visit to The Pig’s Wings at The Glentanar Bar as part of the food firms residency at the bar. The food was really good - especially the Boar B-Que sub, not to mention the Hotwurst - however this hot dog is pretty spicy!! Try out the chicken wings and the loaded fries, you won’t be disappointed. A great place for a pub lunch or if you’re looking to grab something quick.
