Staff are really friendly and have a great knowledge and can recommend some delicious gins! Atmosphere is brilliant also! 100% worth a visit!
If you haven’t yet visited Gin 64 then you must ! It is a very special place . Unlike many Gin Bars , Gin 64 is un pretentious and very welcoming . It is a great place to unwind after work or party on a weekend . The cocktails are innovative ( not your standard list that you see everywhere else ) . The staff are attentive and very customer focussed. Keep up the good work
Very small, but with a rear garden that is quite pretty. It is not accessible, as a rather steep set of stairs lead down to it. Only one beer on draft. There is, as you might expect, a selection of gins, but nothing that can't be found on the shelves of a reasonable supermarket. It would be nice to have seen a few gins from around the world for the more curious. Inside hasn't changed for many years, at least not obviously, and is somewhat stale. Clientele tend to be older and some are quite unpleasant. Perhaps somewhere to drop into on your way home, on a cold, stormy night. Otherwise, there is better value and more interesting options within walking distance.
Recently went to one of the tasting event evenings here! Could not have been a more pleasant experience! Great drinks, great vibe and the eye candy behind the bar wasn’t too bad either. Will definitely be coming back.
We have been twice - once just for a few drinks and once for a whiskey tasting evening. Both times the venue has been relaxed, music isn't overly loud, and it is very clean and well decorated. The drinks are lovely, using high-quality ingredients. The main positive, however, is the staff - both times they have been friendly, welcoming, chatty and seem genuinely interested in talking to customers.
