We wanted to find a delicious Sunday roast pub in the heart of Soho, without having made a booking and The Ganton Arms did not disappoint! We had a bloody Mary (very spicy good bye any hangover symptoms), truffle, parmesan and rosemary fries, the vegan (nut wellington) roast and the chicken crown. Definitely one of the best Sunday roasts we've had! If only we had left space for dessert, would highly highly recommend. Great service and interiors too! Perfect for a date, Sunday roast with the family or just a casual meal / drinks with friends.

Sunday Roast done brilliantly! We ordered both the chicken & roast beef and were very satisfied. PRO: - Sunday Roast was done well - Both Roast Beef & Chicken were excellent - Food is amazing CON: - Slow service - Took almost 40 mins to get to the table SUMMARY: I feel mixed about this review. Food is super but the service was not. Perhaps it was a busy day

Booked for our Christmas lunch with friends. Selected the Christmas menu and they took a £10pp deposit online. When we arrived, the manager apologetically told us we needed to have selected our dishes when we booked (which wasn’t part of the booking process, nor was there any communication about it) and they didn’t have enough festive menus to accommodate us. I’ll stress that the manager was really not to blame, and tried his absolute hardest to make it festive for us, but it turned what should have been a Christmas meal into a pub lunch. Food was pretty passable for pub food. Pasta was excellent, vegan wellington wasn’t great, burger was acceptable. The atmosphere was nice and Christmassy. At the end, the bill arrived and the £40 they’d taken as deposit hadn’t been deducted from the bill, so we had to call them and ask for it to be applied. The 12.5% service charge was of course automatically applied, and they didn’t offer to take it off. Overall it’s a nice pub, but too many problems for it to be a go-to.

Came here on a Saturday night after wandering around in Soho. This is one of the pubs that doesn’t charge you for an entrance fee. In fact the price here is quite good considering its prime location. We just entered and found ourselves a seat at the bar. The bartenders are quite busy. It took us awhile to get their attention. They look very professional and good at making cocktails. People at the pub seem friendly as well. No one is giving anyone troubles quite civilised. The pup is quite spacious. There’s a side with high tables, and the inner bit of the pub it has a seating area for food.

Let's give a shout-out for the Ganton Arms on Ganton Street. Seven star service from behind the bar. Great keg beer offering but perhaps not one for the cask ale drinkers, there are none! Food is on offer for those on solids, A great restaurant area at the rear of the pub + tables out the front. A great place for a beer, food and a chinwag.
