Great pint staff friendly and pool table is 50p a game and have karaoke on its a good night
G.W. Horners is a really nice bar, this 110 year old cinema has been repurposed and sympathetically altered. It's great that this historic building is still in use. There's a decent range of beers and lagers sadly no cask conditioned real ales. The staff are friendly and it is a welcoming pub. The rear of the cinema has been demolished and is now a nice large beer garden with a good size covered area. When it opened in 1910 the Kinema Picture Palace had a marble paved semicircular floor. It was renamed the Regent in 1919 and closed in 1978. In 1980 it opened as a roller disco, then it was turned into a leisure centre. Hopefully it will survive as a pub for many years to come.
We play league pool there and the food we were served was amazing.
Nice locals pub. Everyone seems to know everyone , beer is good, the staff are nice, the toilets are awful. Often dose karaoke,
