We've stopped by on our way from the sea side. Noticed soft play area kids were happy to go ,asked one staff how much do we have to pay to entry and she replied its free today. Once I went to order our food the other staff charged as £4.5 ech kids for entry to the soft play area. I told her her colleague told me its free ,and she replied to me in such a rude manner I was shocked! She didnt even let me explain the whole situation just rold me off! The food also very disappointing. Avarage in taste and portion but overpriced. The whole experience spoiled our New Year mood. Not recommend this place. And an advice to the manager:please talk to this young ,skinny, blond hair girl(pony tail made hair today and I think her name is Sophie) who has zero customer service skills as she should not work within customers areas.
I selected a nachos starter with chili beef and 8oz sirloin steak with salad as a main on the extremely economic meal deal. That is where the compliments end. My nachos resembled more closely a dose of hardjo and were colder than the south pole. As flavoursome as sawdust and even Adam Artois could not distract my palette. The steak arrived shortly afterwards but made me feel sadder than when Lady Di travelled the tunnel. Hot lettuce and cold peas; an interesting twist but not for me and I'm a right "wrongun". The steak itself was a delight however in the shadows of the terminally ill salad, was as memorable as the last time the tories did a good thing.
West Norfolk Autism Group (WNAG) had a brilliant time with you today . Food was excellent , staff were great and so helpful and everyone had a marvellous time. Made us all feel really welcome Thank you
We had an evening meal and breakfast here as we stayed at the Premier Inn and purchased the £25 per person meal deal which included a starter, main and a drink, plus breakfast the next morning. The starters we had were chicken goujons and deep fried cauliflower both came with sauces and were really nice. For our main we both chose the big stack burger which came with skin on fries and coleslaw, was really nice. We had to pay a little extra as we chose Strongbow dark fruits for the drink. Can't complain as the meal deal was really good value. The only thing with the service was that there was only one person taking food orders and it was busy, but the food did not take too long to come out.
I’ve amended my review. Food was hot and good size portions. Standard as in its a pub meal same as Wetherspoon and Hungry Horse. Unfortunately my peas and mash had been overcooked tasted like been done in a microwave. Their steak and ale pie is a must full of filling and very tasty. Sometimes there’s a wait for food but it’s worth it. Everyone else meals where spot on hence why I gave it 4 stars.
