Worst pub I’ve ever been to. Within 1 minute of going in I was told off for (a) going into a room I shouldn’t go into (b) having my shoelaces undone and (c) parking in the wrong place. That last one, I was told twice and then laughed at for it by the whole pub, full of local community people all staring at me and intimidating me because I was a stranger. The barmaid was nice at least. I had never been to the pub before, never even been to the area, I left within one minute and will never go back.
Great little place, very friendly and welcoming. Did not eat this time but will be back. Large car park ,bar ,restaurant and pool table. Unlike so many pub it is open 7 days a week 🙄 😀 with food from Wensday to Sunday (but please check yourself) Looking forward to a return visit 😀 😊
A excellent traditional pub with friendly staff and locals (open every day!!) Food from wednesdays, have not eaten here yet but will soon all in a lovely location nowoved near so will be returning soon.
What a lovely pub! Husband used to come here with his parents as a teenager and our daughter asked where he would like to go for father days and he just said The Fox Inn, she called and booked a table which we were lucky to get a short notice on Father’s Day. Arrived, warmly welcomed and then got straight into food! The lady in charge was lovely, so accommodating to our fussy daughter, food was proper home cooked English pub grub! Garden perfect to bring our dog too, desserts were lovely. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back and bringing the grandparents! X
Your proper local pub. Sue, landlady, and other staff, always there to greet you with sincere smiles and greetings. Wonderful place at any time - all welcome, including dogs. Gather to sit in the bar area and catch up with friends by the log burner, watch the rugby, play a game of pool, or sit at a table out front or in the garden and enjoy the fresh air and countryside with your pint. Great stop off point for walkers and cyclists who need a rest and refreshment. Hearty food served too. Would recommend.
