Our traditional family-run pub and restaurant sits in the heart of the village of Easter Compton and exudes a sense of community spirit, warmth and cheer.
Managed by Lucinda and John Lucker since November 2010, we have established ourselves as a family and community orientated establishment where visitors and locals alike are welcome to join in the fun.
We run quizzes on the last Thursday of every month. No big prizes, just plain good old fashioned fun and healthy competition. John is our local celebrity Quiz Master, having written and hosted over 80 online live quizzes during March 2020 through to February 2021. Maybe you would like to challenge yourself against Sindy from the Village & Cindy not from the Village!!
Pub with a Large Beer Garden in Easter Compton
In the summer our very large beer garden becomes a hive of activity, with the children playing and the adults relaxing with an ice cold beverage. Our visitors enjoy taking part in many events and functions which take place at their local. From Dining evenings for the adults to children's Christmas Eve Animal Zone shows, there is something to keep everyone entertained. We have also been known to host live bands and organise an annual Easter Egg Hunt. The festive season brings a 15ft Christmas Tree to our forecourt with a Community Lights Switch on Event, Brass Band and traditional Christmas Cheer.
The Fox achieved a great review in Food and Drink 2012, we were proud to be Divisional Winners of Best Community Hub 2020 and have been Regional Winners of Pubs in Bloom since 2016.

Great local pub with good food and friendly staff.
My group of 4 have been coming to the Fox monthly for the last 6 years and have really enjoyed both the atmosphere and especially the food. I fully recommend this special pub.
Can't rate the food as I only popped in for a quick drink. The food did smell good though! Lovely beer garden and outside seating area.
Lovely homemade food . The lady was welcoming and helpful nice few hours out . Small menu but had bit variety mum enjoyed her lasagna I enjoyed my curry .food came out nice and hot . We will come here again really nice place and not to far for us to go either so even better . Can't beat pubs like this . X
I stopped at the Fox because they allow overnight parking of motorhomes, if you use their pub/dining facilities. I had a quiet night, a couple of beers and three courses of food. All pretty good, although the crumble could have been better.
