Excellent roast dinner. Mash was gorgeous and huge Yorkshire pud with free refill. Very good pint of guinness too. Always drive past it but first time coming in, we'll worth it.
Book in advance this place was jam packed but i can tell why because the food was brilliant from the roast dinner the lamb shank was falling off the bone good would come here again worth the money but can look expensive
A lovely country pub with excellent food, a lovely atmosphere and very clean. We would highly recommend it. We stopped off there on the way from Sunderland to Manchester and its only a 10 min detour from Motorway.
Although it was a blustery evening, it was warm inside and the food was excellent. They had plenty of vegetarian options so being a veggie, I was very happy. I had the mushroom wellington which was very flavoursome. Would definitely recommend it. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Will be going back soon! 👍👍👍
Wow! A little bit pricey but totally worth it. The food was absolutely gorgeous! The grill was unfortunately broken on our visit so we couldn’t get what we initially wanted but the alternative was fab. We had the rosemary and buttermilk chicken sandwich, nachos and the button mushroom starter. All of it was well cooked, presented and tasted insane. I would highly recommend this place! They have a lovely outdoor seating area too ☀️🍃
