About us

We’re located on the fringe of the lively little town of Wokingham, a stone’s throw from the beautiful Buckhurst Meadow on Plough Lane. We’re a great place to stop by to catch your breath whilst taking out the dog, the family, (or just yourself) for a bit of fresh air. We’re open all day, every day to provide you with your morning coffee, a hearty lunch, and an evening supper too! We’re a pub at the heart with a fantastic selection of drinks, serving up a combination of classic cocktails, craft ales, cask ales and fine wines. We keep things friendly and familiar here – we’re a pub that's open to everyone with comfortable and cosy spaces, including hidden nooks and crannies to nestle into. There are plenty of spots to hide away and make yourself feel at home with the glow of open fires, twinkling lights and roaring firepits. Whether it’s a family get-together, you’re stopping by for a hearty meal and some drinks with friends, or you just fancy a pint after a long walk, we’ll be here, and we look forward to seeing yo.

Went here four times while visiting from Australia. Angus the barman is a gem. Good friendly service and excellent food. Really enjoyed visiting this place. Strongly recommended.

Thank you Foundry Bell! Today we hosted our baby shower and the service by all was amazing! The food was exceptional (including gluten free options) and they went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests.

The local pub on Boxing Day exceeded expectations with its outstanding service and inviting atmosphere. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness made our visit truly enjoyable. From recommending great drinks to creating a lively ambiance, the pub's commitment to exceptional service shone through. It was the perfect place to unwind after the holiday hustle, and the welcoming atmosphere added an extra layer of warmth to the Boxing Day experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxed yet vibrant spot for a few drinks.

Perfect for a lunch stop over after vising Grays's Farm for a day of PYO. We sat outside which has a selection of shady plus full sun options. We took an umbrella table. Their veggie sharing platter has loads to chose from, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh pesto. Mains was good too and prepared fresh. Bit pricy but loved the overall ambience so 5 stars overall.
